If yesterday was a ‘proper’ move, today has been even more
so, with 14 miles and 4 locks under our belt. In fairness one of those locks
was the flood lock at Knottingley but since it was closed I think that counts,
even though the difference in levels was probably only about an inch!
The weather has pretty much complied with the forecast with
patchy sun an virtually no rain (it spat a bit as we were mooring up for the
day, but that was about it). The engine sounds well for having had its service
so tomorrow we press on towards Wakefield.
