Yesterday I said ‘weather permitting’ but today we decided
that we’d rather get through Long Eaton before the weekend so, despite a poor
weather forecast, we went anyway, and it rained all the way to Trent Lock!
The other purpose of the move was to get the weekend shop in
and, since the choice in Sandiacre was a bit limited, we needed to get close to
Long Eaton to do so. Now that we are stocked up we can travel as far or as
little as we wish over the weekend. The forecast for Saturday seems to be OK
but Sunday could be a bit changeable.
