As stated yesterday, today’s trip has brought us as far as
Kilby Bridge which is handy for a variety of services and it is only a short
trip to local shops. Not sure yet whether we are here for just one day or for a
couple of days. The weather for travelling today was glorious, at least for one
day Spring had arrived. Still not a lot moving on the canal, I think we passed
3 boats between Wistow and here. The locks can be hard work as well, I had to
tie up and return to the lock on one occasion as the crew was unable to get the
lock gate closed again, success with the weight of both of us on the balance
beam.
